Safety?  Rumors have been going around about the safety.  These blocks were tested in the United States by Louisiana Animal Disease Diagnostic Laboratory and found to be SAFE.  They have less than 1/2 of 1% of what the US regulatory agency considers to be "safe.

We've been giving these blocks to the store bird, Rosie (Goffin's cockatoo) for about seven years.  She chews them up.  After all these years, she's still healthy so we think they're fine.

FORAGING TOY.  Use these round wood toothpicks with foraging toys.  Stuff them in a foraging tube with treats (such as sunflower seeds).  See photo.

OTHER USES  

• Chew toys - Toothpicks by themselves make fun chew up toys.
• Stuff in small Birdie Bagels - Use the Bitty (#1) or Bites (#7) sizes.
• Skewer pieces of food on a toothpick or make a "porcupine" toy by putting several toothpicks in one item.
