INFORMATION COLLECTED FROM VISITORS.  For each visitor to our web page, our web server automatically recognizes and collects only the consumer's domain name, but not the e-mail.  We aggregate information on what pages consumers access or visit. 

COOKIES.  With respect to cookies: We use temporary cookies to record session information, such as items that you place in the shopping cart.  The cookie is deleted when you close your browser. 

IF YOU SPECIFICALLY GIVE US INFORMATION.  We collect the e-mail addresses of those who communicate with us via e-mail,  information volunteered by the consumer, such as contact and payment information from customers who place orders on our web site.

HOW THE INFORMATION IS USED.  The information we collect is used to improve the content of our Web page, contact customers about our products, and used to fill and process payment for the customer's requests and purchase order.  After an order is placed, the shopping cart sends the customer an e-mail order confirmation and our UPS shipping software sends an e-mail shipping notification and package tracking information.  We send e-mail to customers who have signed up for our mailing list at bird marts, conferences, and workshops.

HOW TO TELL US NOT TO SEND YOU E-MAIL.  If you do not want to receive e-mail from us (that is not related to a specific order) in the future, please let us know by sending us an e-mail (see address at top of page), calling us at the above telephone number, or writing to us at the above address.  

POSTAL MAIL.  If a customer supplies us with a postal address on-line, the customer may receive periodic mailings from us with information on new products and services or upcoming events  such as bird behavior conferences and toy making seminars.  We send postal mail to customers who have signed up for our mailing list at bird marts, conferences, and workshops.

HOW TO TELL US NOT TO SEND YOU MAIL.  If you do not wish to receive such mailings please let us know.  Call us at the number provided above, e-mail us at the above address, or write to us at the above address.  Please provide us with your exact name, address, and e-mail address. 

TELEPHONE NUMBER.  Persons who supply us with their telephone numbers
on-line will only receive telephone contact from us with information regarding orders or customer requests.

CHILDREN'S PRIVACY.  We do not request or accept any information or orders from children.  You must be 18 years old or older to purchase items from our store. 

FUTURE CHANGES IN PRIVACY POLICY.  From time to time, we may use customer information for new, unanticipated uses not previously disclosed in our privacy notice. If our information practices change at some time in the future we will contact you before we use your data for these new purposes to notify you of the policy change and to provide you with the ability to opt out of these new uses.

HOW TO GET OR CORRECT INFORMATION. Upon request we provide site visitors with access to contact information (e.g., name, address, phone number) that we maintain about them .  Consumers can access this information by writing to us at the above address. Consumers can have this information corrected by writing to us at the above address.

SECURITY OF INFORMATION.  With respect to security: We always use industry-standard encryption technologies when transferring and receiving consumer data exchanged with our site, We have appropriate security measures in place in our physical facilities to protect against the loss, misuse or alteration of information that we have collected from you at our site.
