Order arrived right on time and in perfect shape. Just wanted to let you know I gave Noel [bare-eyed cockatoo] the adding machine tape toy right before leaving for work and came home to find his cage 1/2 filled with tape. He unrolled the WHOLE roll - He is just so wonderful and plays with almost every new toy I get him.

This one was another winner [Noel also loved the Can't Wait Toy].

Thanks for the info. I ordered from 3 different online stores and was waiting for everything to come in before I start the toy-making process. I thought you'd like to know that I ordered from all 3 stores the same day and yours was the first to arrive, was neatly packaged and you charged far less for shipping! The 'freebie' bag was also a nice touch that was very much appreciated! Thank-you!

I received another shipment 2 days later in a padded envelope and when I opened the envelope it reeked of cigarette smoke, the shipping was outrageous and one of the items is the wrong thing so I'm extremely disappointed with that store.

I finally received the last one today...also with outrageous shipping cost.

Between the fast & reasonable shipping, the freebie bag, the toy parts themselves (quality & price), and your friendly correspondence, you've earned me as a satisfied customer who will willingly advertise your store to my other birdie friends.

Unfortunately I only have 4 birds and I ordered lots of stuff so I'll be stocked for awhile, but I look forward to checking out new stuff on your website.

loves not only the toys but helping make them too. (You can imagine how
much help he is.) You've saved me a lot of money considering that he goes
through about a toy a day. That gets pretty expensive at $10 or $15 per
toy retail.

I got into your web site and found the "make your own toys" with the bit about the corn husks. Quincy thought he'd died and gone to heaven. I tie up some of his beads that he loves inside the husk-using the leather ties I got from you. I tied some on the top of his swing the other day and he was hanging from the leather strip and flapping those wings, trying to get into the husk. Then he did his "bat thing" -- he hangs upside down and covers himself with his wings. He was working on the "prize" and had covered himself up with his wings so nobody could see what he was doing !! Guess he wanted private time!

Hi Kit

I just received an older umbrella cockatoo last Saturday. She is doing great!!!! She is not that noisy as long as she has her set play and cuddle times and of course food. She loves to chew on wood, play hide and seek under a towel, play tug of war with a sock, and play with hand toys.

I will admit I haven't tried all your toys yet because I became very sick last week. Thanks God for my wonderful husband that has been a great daddy to Zoey!! We have both spent our time, but he has done more and has fallen in love with Zoey.

We are working on touch her feet and when she moves on her cage, catching a foot and lifting it up and saying "up" and good girl. She is very, very gentle so does not try to bite me. I have been trying to introduce new food, but it will take some time. She eats lots of mac and cheese. She has tasted a pepper, strawberry and has eaten some sprouts. We will not give up on her.

I would love to thank you once again for not giving up on contacting me and giving me lots of advice. We are have been playing with some of your toys and my smaller birds love the coils [tiny springs]!!!

You are so sweet for remembering my desire for a Caique! That's amazing, as I'm certain you have hundreds of customers. I've referred everyone involved in two separate forums to you and posted pictures of what MY BIRDS created (they are always in the middle of everything helping!)

No, no Caique yet. California and Arizona are the two breeders I found, and with that exotic Newcastle, I think I'll wait...too much at stake... Someday I will have one.

thanks! I love the web site-just wanted to add that I recently ordered and someone from the site called to say that the toys were on the way UPS-they followed with a email & tracking #.

The site was so easy to navigate and order from..very impressed! Just can't beat the follow up and service.

I would love several of the caterpillars and wish now I had ordered at least 4-6.

I totally understand the shipping and overhead being a past owner of a business-it eats you up.

Maybe this explains why Josie and Isaac took to the two pathetic looking toys I made them. LOL. Here's all these nice, expensive toys hanging all around them and they took to the pitiful looking toy I made them. :D Imagine what might happen if they watched me make a toy, and it came out looking good!!! LOL.

We received your phone message yesterday. From one business owner to another, I just want to say how refreshing it is to see your professionalism and wonderful customer service! In the years of buying on-line, that is the first phone call received advising shipment information. wow!

We found your site through Goggle after returning home from our local retail bird supply store who were out of stock on 2" plastic chain. We did a search on "plastic chain" and there you were.

As we're about to acquire a baby Macaw, Frida (see pic), when weaning is complete (due next month), we're getting prepared now. We have an awesome large stainless steel cage on order.

Your site was a bit overwhelming for the first visit, but you were able to get nearly $100 out of our wallet fairly easily. Of course we would have had to spend a great deal more for similar items through our retailer. Keep those prices reasonable and we'll be back for more!

It would be a great idea if someone was to publish a book which would show many examples on assembly of Parrot Toys [Note from Kit: I'm now finished working on a toy book with Mattie Sue Athan.] Written like a recipe book and having chapters covering destructible, non-destructible, foot toys, puzzles and mine toys.

Dear Kit,

Louie got her package yesterday and she was so funny and excited as I explained to her that this was for her. She immediately started wrestling with the caterpillars but I think her real fave is the little dinosaur puzzle. Now if I could just teach her how to put it back together. I haven't show her the squiggles yet so I thought I would save that for today.

Thanks for the toys, I really, really enjoy throwing them off my play area onto the floor and watching my daddy pick them up every few minutes. My favorites are the soft wood that I love to chew into pieces, the caterpillars, the dinosaurs and the small plastic pieces that I can really toss quite a long ways. Just a few words about your customer service. On 10/7/03 I placed an order for several toy making parts for Wally, (our Green Wing Macaw) whom we have had since he was about three weeks old. The next thing I know there was a message on our telephone answering machine from you indicating our order had been shipped, and about when it should arrive.

I was pleasantly surprised today when a UPS truck arrived today with our order. When I opened the box I was again pleasantly surprised to see that the contents had obviously been packed by someone who knew what they were doing and took the time to do it neatly and carefully. We are happy with everything that was shipped to us. We are also happy we decided to place our order with Birds Just Wanna Have Fun.
